Meet Your Vital Woman Care Provider

Christine’s interest in perimenopausal and menopausal care evolved from her own personal journey of attempting to find a knowledgeable provider to support her in this transition. Unfortunately, her experience reflects that of many women who struggle to find a provider who validates a woman’s symptoms and has expertise in this evolving field of care. As a health care provider, she was determined to learn as much as possible about this dynamic stage of life and to provide a safe and trusted space for women.

Christine believes in a whole person approach to care that encompasses but goes beyond a purely medical approach.  A native of Denmark, she is guided by the danish principle of hygge  – finding balance, contentment and wellness in life.  In her own life and with her patients, Christine prioritizes lifestyle medicine – nutrition, physical activity, stress management, restorative sleep,  and social connection.   These threads are woven into her care. She is also a yoga teacher and values how this has informed her medical practice.

Perimenopause and menopause care is finally getting the attention and respect it deserves. Information abounds but it can be difficult to know how to sort it all out – what is evidenced based and how does this fit with your own health history and goals? One size does not fit all. Vital Woman Care’s origin story arose out of a recognition for women to have an accessible and safe place to navigate their symptoms and health risks, learn about their treatment options and with shared decision making, develop an evidence based treatment plan.
